In one scene a coach preaches to his team, 'Offense sells tickets. Defense wins games.' Prince-Bythewood subscribes to such a substance-over-style strategy as she resists flash and cheap dramatics.. I don't know that I've ever felt more involved in fictional competition than I was throughout this movie, and I can't tell a hockey puck from cow pie..
